Current Wind Installations

Colorado has excellent potential to develop wind energy resources and is proving that through its on the ground installations. The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) reports that Colorado is ranked 8th in the U.S. for developed capacity and 11th in the U.S. for potential capacity. This map provides a two-dimensional view of installed commercial and industrial wind energy generation facilities in Colorado. 3D views and virtual videos of these facilities are also available. Data is current through July 2008.
